MILWAUKEE BREWERS "HARVEY'S WALLBANGERS" TO MAKE SPRING DEBUT

DVD Production Commemorating 1982 AL Championship Club Set for April 10 Release

MILWAUKEE - As a part of the celebration to honor the 25th Anniversary of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers, Major League Baseball Productions is producing a 60-minute video documentary that will capture the pennant fever that swept Milwaukee that magical summer. Harvey's Wallbangers: The 1982 Milwaukee Brewers will go behind the scenes to tell the story of the team that made a remarkable run to the American League Championship and thrilled hometown fans through a seven-game World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals. The DVD, which will be distributed by Hart Sharp Video, is scheduled to be available in retail locations and at brewers.com for $24.95 on April 10.

Using its vast and unparalleled library of footage and interviews, and tapping its relationships and contacts within baseball to expand upon this archive material, Major League Baseball Productions is in the unique position to offer the Milwaukee Brewers and its fans a comprehensive retelling and celebration of the 1982 team that, a quarter-century later, has remained so unforgettable for baseball fans everywhere. The DVD will be narrated by Brewers Hall of Fame announcer, Bob Uecker.

"This production will be sure to rekindle the memories of Brewers fans who witnessed history in 1982," said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Executive Vice President - Business Operations. "It will also serve to preserve the story of that special team for generations to come."

A bonus disc included in the package will show Game 5 of the LCS in its entirety. Fans will be able to relive all the emotions of the game that saw the Brewers clinch the American League Pennant in a come-from-behind triumph at County Stadium against the California Angels.

The Brewers will give a sneak preview of the production during the Brewers Winter Warm Up on Thursday, January 11. A 3-minute trailer will be shown to attendees as well as the audience tuning in to the broadcast on FSN North from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 11.
