HART SHARP VIDEO TO PARTNER WITH BOMBO SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT

NEW YORK, NY -- Hart Sharp Video has partnered with Bombo Sports & Entertainment to distribute a new line of specialized sports documentaries. Hart Sharp Video President Joe Amodei made the announcement today. This follows the successful release of Still, We Believe…The Boston Red Sox Movie distributed by the label in conjunction with THINKFilm.

The partnership shifts into high gear with its first release, The Number 2 Car which features NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace. Additional titles slated for release are The World at Their Feet, the history of and phenomenon of the US Woman’s team featuring Mia Hamm, and the impact that has had on women’s sports in this country and Real McCoy a documentary on the rough and tumble world of professional rodeo.

The deal was negotiated by Andrew Herwitz of the Film Sales Company on behalf of Bombo and Goetz Grossman on behalf of Hart Sharp.

SYNOPSIS: The Number 2 Car gives viewers a first-ever look at a year on and off the track with one of NASCAR’s most charismatic individuals, Rusty Wallace. It is a-holds-barred look at NASCAR that will appeal to the legion of fans who live and breathe the fumes of NASCAR as well as those who don’t know a spark plug from carburetor.
