Directed and written by award-winner Katie Tallo, Posers is an unapologetic portrayal of the female gang dynamic. A band of club girls become unglued after they commit a murder during a night of partying and their actions trigger the wrath of an unknown killer. Filled with vengeance, detachment and love in all its twisted forms, Posers will be available on DVD and VHS March 30 for the suggested retail price of $24.99 and NSRP respectively wherever home videos are sold.
SYNOPSIS
In a nightclub, four hard-core party girls ambush an unsuspecting girl in a bathroom and beat her to a pulp. When the dead girl shows up on the news, the group's leader, Love, seeks her moment in the spotlight. However when Love (Stefanie von Pfetten) suddenly vanishes things take a turn for the worse. Is the girl's boyfriend looking for revenge? As it becomes clear that Love was murdered, the three remaining girls are afraid of becoming the next victim. Each distorts the truth and will do anything to cover up what they have done. Ruth (Emily Hampshire) becomes obsessed with Love's death, Vonny (Sarain Boylan) descends into a state of paranoia, and Adria (Jessica Pare) thinks she's losing her mind. When the boyfriend turns up dead, the police loose their prime suspect and each girl tries to shift the blame to the next. There's no telling which one is going to make it out alive.
