HART SHARP VIDEO, MORGAN SPURLOCK and COMCHOICE PROUDLY ANNOUNCE

A NEW VERSION OF THE ACADEMY AWARD® NOMINATED DOCUMENTARY,

SUPER SIZE ME  - THE SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED® DVD

NEW YORK, NY -- Hart Sharp Video, along with Morgan Spurlock and Comchoice®, have developed a new revolutionary version of the Academy Award® Nominated Documentary SUPER SIZE ME, that focuses on teaching children about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the life-threatening consequences of poor diet, inadequate nutrition, and lack of exercise. The SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED® edition incorporates unique educational content into the original documentary film, and will be released on DVD on February 28, 2005 . The SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED® edition can be purchased by visiting the Super Size Me store at http://www.hartsharpvideo.shoppingcartsplus.com/SUPERSIZEMESTORE.html .

Director Morgan Spurlock has re-edited the film and removed certain language and scenes to create a new PG version of the movie which viewers can watch from start to finish in a family or educational environment, or they can choose from a series of menu options to incorporate learning tools in their viewing experience. One is to activate a series of pop-up screens that provide additional facts and figures related to scenes in the movie. Another option is to go directly to 24 standards-based lessons in health education, life skills and language arts, integrated with math, science and social studies. Teachers can play games from the disc that challenge students and test their understanding. Other assessments and quizzes are available as well. Each SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED ® DVD comes with a teacher's guide, printable lesson plans, printable student handouts, and links to other resources and web sites.

The action-packed SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED ® DVD will not only captivate students - but also assist them in learning key skills and knowledge as required by state and national standards. Comchoice, the originator of the educationally enhanced ® process, concepted, designed and developed the interface, interactivity and animation for the SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED ® DVD, and worked meticulously with McREL to ensure that all the materials, activities and lessons are linked to major national standards required in literacy, health, physical science, life skills and other subject areas. A list of these standards, and how they are addressed by each lesson, is included on the disc. Teachers will find they can utilize the SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED ® curriculum as a focal point for their lesson plans over several weeks, or use it to reinforce the lessons they already teach.

Following on the film's blockbuster success in the US and around the world, Spurlock took it upon himself to ensure that young people got his message and scheduled a tour of schools across the country. The SUPER SIZE ME EDUCATIONALLY ENHANCED ® DVD is his newest attempt to help change young people's awareness and lifestyles before bad health habits set in. "Morgan's message about making the right food choices and the importance of exercise is something that I want to help reach young Americans," exclaimed Joe Amodei, Hart Sharp Video President. "This DVD includes life-changing lessons to help students stay away from high calorie, fatty foods they are tempted by every day. "

"SUPER SIZE ME is about the importance of taking personal responsibility for a healthy lifestyle," said Bob Hively, Comchoice President and CEO. "Morgan Spurlock's film provides a graphic depiction of the impact on the body of poor nutrition and overindulgence. The educationally enhanced ® version of Super Size Me connects the filmed content to educational standards and teachable moments, enabling teachers and parents to integrate the film into classroom or at-home instruction in a way that makes clear the importance of a healthy balance of nutrition and exercise."

SUPER SIZE ME is directed by Morgan Spurlock and produced by Spurlock and The Con with executive producers J.R. Morley and Heather Winters. Scott Ambrozy is the director of photography and Stela Georgieva and Julie "Bob" Lombardi co-edited the film.
