SUNDANCE CHANNEL HOME ENTERTAINMENT

SIGNS DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH HART SHARP VIDEO

 New York , NY December 9, 2004 .. Mike Haney, Vice President, Sundance Channel Home Entertainment (SCHE), and Joe Amodei, President, Hart Sharp Video announced today that the two companies have entered into a distribution partnership. Hart Sharp Video will be the exclusive distributor of Sundance Channel Home Entertainment's premiere independent film line on home video for releases beginning April 2005. Titles will be announced shortly.

Haney said "Hart Sharp's affinity for the independent film category makes this partnership a perfect fit for Sundance Channel Home Entertainment. Joe Amodei and his group are one of the most experienced home entertainment sales teams in the business; I am confident that they will introduce the Sundance Channel brand to a growing consumer base of independent film lovers".

SCHE will continue to build on the Company's library of quality branded independent films and will acquire or produce twelve to fifteen titles for distribution in 2005. Among the titles released by SCHE are the original Sundance Channel television series by Robert Altman and Garry Trudeau "Tanner on Tanner"; Peter Fonda's rediscovered western The Hired Hand; Thaddeus O'Sullivan's emotionally charged period drama The Heart of Me; and Mark Rucker's comedic melodrama Die Mommie Die! .

Sundance Channel Home Entertainment was founded in September of 2001. All current and scheduled SCHE titles will continue to be distributed by Showtime Entertainment through March 2005. Upcoming releases include Lone Scherfig's comedy/drama Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself (DVD and VHS on December 28, 2004 ); and Jamie Rafn's moody British crime thriller Soho Square (on DVD and VHS on February 8, 2005 ).
